A conditions survey is a visual inspection of a property condition which outlines visible existing defects and records condition of the property prior to works commencing. This survey is generally carried out along side of party wall matters. |

Although it is not required by the Party Wall etc Act 1996 it is highly recommended to have a schedule of conditions survey carried out prior to works commencing. This provides protection for both owners. We can visit and carry out this examination & provide a written record along with high resolution photographs of our findings.
A schedule of conditions is a non-intrusive survey and will not require moving of any furniture or any exposure works. We shall inspect only those parts of the building that can be seen without damaging the property, its decorations or contents and it must be understood that our report is not a guarantee that all defects that are present or may occur in the future, would be discovered by this limited inspection.
